Positions come only from what the ESP32 decodes: ADS-B aircraft (1090 MHz antenna), Remote ID drones and Iridium satellites. Mobile cells have no position.

Calibration

Measures the ESP crystal error against LTE base stations (accurate to ±0.05 ppm) and corrects every frequency readout. Uses only the public sync signals (cell ID + frequency).

Setup

Install or update the ESP-SDR firmware on your board, or reopen the welcome guide.

Firmware by ESPARGOS — obtained from their site or your own files at flash time, never bundled here. Fallback: official ESPARGOS installer.

Extra ladle · antennas

The built-in antenna only tastes 2.4/5 GHz. With this on, “Stir the pot” also listens for aircraft and satellites. Active GPS antennas need a separate bias-tee – the ESP does not power the antenna.

Satellite dish · QO-100 LNB

Bias-T reminderThe LNB needs 13 V (vertical, NB) or 18 V (horizontal, WB) from a bias-T — the ESP cannot power it. Never connect the bias-T voltage to the ESP's antenna port without a DC block.

Language

Switching reloads the app. Technical terms (Wi-Fi, LTE, SNR, MS/s) stay as they are.

About

Receive-only client for the open SDR firmware by ESPARGOS (flash it with their web installer). Measured on ESP32-C5: exact tuning 2150–2700 MHz and 4800–6000 MHz, reception down to ~1050 MHz with frequency offset, nothing below 1 GHz.

Gestures: drag to tune (or pan when zoomed), pinch or Ctrl+wheel to zoom, tap for a marker, double-tap to tune there. Keys: ←/→ tune, Shift = 10 MHz, Space pauses.
